What is Protocols®?

Protocols® is an independent consulting practice that offers the background, expertise and depth to provide all services related to the settlement of workers’ compensation and personal injury liability cases that include a medical component. Our practice includes certified nurse life care planners, legal nurse consultants, public benefit consultants, Medicare set-aside consultants, case managers – and attorneys.

Protocols® got its start as part of a law firm – Sagrillo Hammond & Dineen, LLC – a Denver-based firm with a national reputation for handling complex settlement matters, including Medicare set-aside analysis and allocations, Medicare secondary-payer issues and special needs trusts. Protocols® and SHD continue to work hand-in-hand, when necessary, to provide clients with a full range of services – consultative as well as legal.
