Update on H.R. 2549
Protocols is closely following the progress of H.R. 2549, proposed legislation that would streamline the Medicare set-aside process. The bill, during its introduction on May 24, 2007, was referred to two committees in the House (the Committee on Ways and Means and the Committee on Energy and Commerce). The Committee on Energy and Commerce immediately referred the bill to its Subcommittee on Health, and on June 5, 2007, the Committee on Ways and Means referred the bill to its Subcommittee on Health.
